Conjugaison of -re verbs

Examples include boire, lire, vivre & faire.

Je-----lis
Tu-----lis
Il/Elle-----lit
Nous-----lisons
Vous-----lisez
Ils/Elles-----lisent

The endings are similar to that of -er verbs & many other kinds of verbs that you will learn. The nous, vous & ils/elles forms will differ with different -re verbs but the endings will still be the same. For example:

Nous-----buvons
Vous-----buvez
Ils/Elles-----boivent

There is another kind of -re verbs. These verbs end with -dre.
Examples include comprendre, attendre, apprendre, prendre & entendre.

Je-----comprends
Tu-----comprends
Il/Elle-----comprend
Nous-----comprenons
Vous-----comprenez
Ils/Elles-----comprennent

The forms of -re verbs are more 'standardized'. All the pronouns share the same letters in the first part of the word.
